Ran 4 miles through an expiring tornado watch. The last mile was a downpour. It felt awesome!.. Why is that? I heard the commentators on Tour de France explain that the peleton (the body of the cycling field) actually clocks a faster time in the rain, contrary to expectation that they would be more cautious, due to the fact that the rain oxygenates the air. So that would explain why you always feel GREAT after a run in the rain.
